Walls & Ceiling
Walls & Ceiling
The warm beauty of hardwoods are a natural fit for walls and ceilings, where organic hues and textures set the tone of the entire room.
Under the hardwood face, two more layers of cross-plied hardwood means Schafer engineered wood resists seasonal waves and gaps so your planks stay true.
It’s why our hardwood walls and ceilings are built to last a lifetime.

3/4" is the standard. For lighter ceiling installs or special details, 5/8" or 1/2" is available. We adjust the core to keep things stable while preserving the face layer thickness.
-

-
We off both a natural oil and a UV Matte finish. Natural Oil is easy to spot repair and develops a patina over time. UV Matte is low-maintenance and durable. Both are zero-VOC multi-layer matte.
-

Dust them regularly, then use a neutral hardwood cleaner when needed. Avoid steam and harsh chemicals.

Wood adds warmth and can soften reflections compared to bare drywall, but it’s not a dedicated acoustic panel. Ask us about under-layers if sound control is a priority.
-
Our engineered-hardwoods are not for exterior use. For fireplaces, follow your local code and heat-rating requirements. Make sure to keep panels out of high-heat zones.
